For Indoor Sensor
Soft Reset (Fixes most disconnections):
Hold reset button for 5 seconds (on right side of sensor), while sensor is still plugged in.
- You should see the LED light on the back of the sensor light up, then you can release the button.
- Be sure to release the button when you see the light come on to avoid a “Hard Reset”. Wait 3 minutes, and refresh the app to recheck connection status.
-
If the light did not come on during the soft reset, please unplug the sensor for 5 seconds and plug it back in.
-
If light behind sensor does not flash when plugging back in, try Hard Reset.
How to do a Hard Reset:
-
Hold reset button for about 10 seconds (until the strobe becomes quick flash)
-
The sensor has been reset and is now in setup mode - sensor is back to factory settings.
-
If the sensor will not connect, try resetting the WiFi router.
-
If it still does not connect, please try setting up at your personal property to rule out if it is a WiFi router issue
-
If you get an error message after inputting their WiFi information, password is most likely wrong.
NOTE: NoiseAware sensors ONLY operate on the 2.4g WiFi network - if there are different passwords for the router’s 2.4 and 5g networks, double check that you are entering the correct one.
For Outdoor Sensor
- Please try to remove batteries for 5 seconds, then place them back in to the sensor.
- Once light is flashing attempt to "Set up outdoor sensor" again on your app.
