What is Futurestay?
NoiseAware has partnered with Futurestay to bring you automated guest messaging! Futurestay is one of the industry leading property management softwares. They allow you to sync listings across all major online travel platforms, manage your calendar, track financials, and more - all in one spot.
What does this Integration do?
Linking your NoiseAware and Futurestay accounts gives Futurestay the ability to message your guests for you when they get too loud! Futurestay uses their Noise Control Alerts to send an SMS text message to your guest if they are making noise above the NoiseAware thresholds at your property.
This new AutoResolve feature means that you get the same protection from NoiseAware without having to directly message your guests whenever you receive an alert.
How do I connect my accounts?
The first step will be to ensure you have an active NoiseAware AND Futurestay account. If you don't currently have both accounts, follow the appropriate link at the end of this article to get your account set up! This video shows how to create your Futurestay account from inside your NoiseAware account.Only Administrators on your NoiseAware account will be able to set up the integration.
Once you have active accounts on both platforms, you will need to ensure NoiseAware is installed and online at your properties.
Next, you will need to turn on Smart Connections™ in your Futurestay account, and match your properties. This is all done inside of your Futurestay account. This article will show in detail how to match your properties (https://help.futurestay.com/help-article/noise-control-alerts).
How many alerts does the guest get?
The guest will receive up to two notifications if they are consistently noisy. The first message is sent 15-minutes after they cross the noise threshold for your property.
If the noise continues for another 15-minutes, then they are sent a follow up message.
If the noise continues for another 15-minutes, then you are sent a notification of the guests continual noise. It is up to you how you would like to proceed. No further messages will be automated at this point.
How do I know when a guest has been messaged?
You can see a log of the SMS messages within your Reservation Details page inside of Futurestay.
How can I take advantage of this?
