NoiseAware is launching a major improvement to all of our "behind-the-scenes" backend systems. The goals of these improvements are to ensure that all of your sensors are online reliably, and to eliminate the risk of system load leading to data loss. These improvements should improve the current user-experience, but are also critically important to allow NoiseAware to continue growing and adding new enhancements and features to our product.
The improvements are beginning to roll out on April 8, 2020.
You should not notice any changes to the Dashboard or to the performance of your Sensors or Alerts, however if you do experience any issues, please do the following:
1. Perform a hard refresh of your browser window with the NoiseAware Dashboard. In Windows, the shortcut for this is Control+F5 and on a Mac, the shortcut is Command+Shift+R.
2. If prompted to do so, log out of the Dashboard and log back in.
3. Make sure that your NoiseAware mobile application is up to date by checking the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
If you perform the above steps and are still seeing issues, please report it to us through the chat window at the bottom-right of this page or by emailing support@noiseaware.io.
This system maintenance also comes with some improvements to our current alerting functionality, which you can find from your Account Settings page.
You can check the current status of the NoiseAware system by visiting status.noiseaware.io. While we anticipate the work to run smoothly and ultimately be unnoticeable when you next log into the Dashboard or mobile application, we will still be sure to communicate any updates to this maintenance effort as needed.
Thanks!
